Key Qualifications
- Deep understanding of microcontroller hardware peripherals
- Good knowledge of Altium Designer
- Electrical engineering fundamentals in design and build of embedded systems
- Experience with troubleshooting and debugging hardware
- Experience with common embedded systems communications protocols (SPI, I2C, CAN)
- Experience in embedded systems debugging techniques; usage of software/hardware debuggers, emulators and protocols (e.g., JTAG, SWD)
- A knack for thinking about how the parts of a system work together
- Focused on hardware testing with ability to write functional tests
- Excellent collaborator with a team-first attitude
- A passion for embedded system design
- Skilled in the use of embedded software development tools such as in-circuit emulators, protocol analyzers, and oscilloscopes
- Understanding and ability to work with technical documentation for digital systems (microprocessors, integrated circuits, embedded systems)
- Knowledge of version control systems (GIT)
- English language at a communicative level
Nice to have
- Experience in analogue circuit design
- Experience in electronics production
- Experience in signal integrity analysis, and EMI/EMC best practices
- Experience in test automation and results visualization
- Experience with projects running under RTOS control
- Experience with common electrical engineering design and simulation software (e.g. LTSpice, PSPice)
- Experience with soldering iron, hot air and basic rework techniques
