We were initially approached with a simple task: porting an existing codebase to a refreshed board. However, this quickly evolved into a full-scale project—developing a new car charger controller from the ground up.

During the consultation phase, we demonstrated our expertise in embedded systems, earning the client’s trust and influencing the development strategy. Our focus shifted toward creating a future-proof design that balances high performance with real-time control, ensuring a high-quality and competitive product.

Embevity’s primary responsibility was hardware development, which involved designing multiple PCBs tailored to the client’s requirements—requirements we also helped define. Additionally, we were entrusted with system and driver preparation for both real-time and application cores, ensuring compliance with current and future cybersecurity standards.

“We have been looking for an experienced embedded development partner to help us upgrade the firmware for our platforms. Embevity performed thorough due diligence of our solution and goals and has proposed a revised approach to our controller design. They have created a decision matrix based on which we knew what where the consequences and blind routes in our product development strategy. This has been a great value for our product development strategic decisions. ”
